FESCO and the Railway Research Institute have agreed to cooperate at implementation of innovation projects

FESCO Transportation Group (“FESCO”) and the Railway Research Institute (“VNIIZhT”, a subsidiary of JSC Russian Railways) will cooperate during implementation of innovation projects on the basis of the corporate accelerator of startup projects of JSC Russian Railways.

FESCO and the Railway Research Institute have agreed to cooperate at implementation of innovation projects

The Agreement of Intent was signed within the framework of the international railway exhibition of space 1520 “PRO//Movement. EXPO” by German Maslov, Vice-president, Liner & Logistics Division of FESCO and Konstantin Shenfeld, Executive Director of VNIIZhT.

Under the agreement, FESCO will participate in examination of projects and the possibility of their application in practice to optimize processes in port logistics, cargo clearance procedures, including refrigerated, via introduction of digital technologies.

The corporate accelerator of start-up projects of JSC Russian Railways was launched in 2019 on the basis of VNIIZhT and in 2021 the program is aimed at finding most popular projects in the field of logistics.
