Andrey Severilov, Chairman of the Board of Directors of FESCO Transportation Group (“FESCO”) participated in the panel discussion on possibilities of the Northern Sea Route (NSR) which took place within the framework of the Rosatom week at Expo 2020 in Dubai.

In his speech, Andrey Severilov noted the prospects of the Northern Sea Route such as ensuring stability of global container cargo supply chains and added that FESCO has extensive experience of operation in the Arctic and is ready to actively participate in this work.
To date, FESCO fleet has 21 vessel, almost half of them have an ice-class, which allows to carry out transportations along the NSR route both accompanied by icebreakers and in independent navigation.
Andrey Severilov also recalled that an Eastern transport and logistics hub will be created on the territory of Commercial Port of Vladivostok (a FESCO company) as part of the project implemented by Rosatom State Corporation to organize Eurasian transit of containerized cargo. According to him, the most modern technological solutions will be used at construction of the new infrastructure.
