FESCO Transportation Group has extensive experience in the transportation of hazardous and chemical substances. Dangerous substances can be transported by all marine lines and by rail and road transport in accordance with the European Convention on the International Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road (ADR).

About the service

Dangerous goods, including chemical substances, require special conditions at all stages of transportation. Dangerous goods include substances that can harm human and animal life/health, the environment and all physical objects. Therefore, the transportation of chemical substances and materials is a matter of serious responsibility, and FESCO is well aware of this.

Bulk liquid cargoes are transported in tank containers, and liner bag containers are used for bulk dry cargoes. FESCO uses reefer containers from its own fleet for transportation of cargoes requiring temperature control.

FESCO transports hazardous substances on all sea routes, by rail, air and road.

If such cargoes are delivered by vessels, tank containers and dry containers are used. Railway delivery is carried out in regular and special containers, freight or flat cars. Special tanks are used for transporting bulk goods by road. Air transportation is carried out by specialised cargo aircraft.

Cargoes' Consolidation

FESCO consolidates goods at warehouses of reliable agents and checks cargoes in accordance with individual instructions. Clients can additionally order a report with photos.
Cargoes' fastening in the country of departure

FESCO offers optimal solutions for cargoes' fastening in accordance with the requirements of Russian Railways. Railways and sea lines do not accept goods with improper fastening. If a consignor is unable to fasten hazardous/non-hazardous chemical cargo in a proper manner, FESCO may render such a service.
Cargoes fastening at the Commercial Port of Vladivostok

Availability of a service for complete fastening/partial additional fastening of containers at the Commercial Port of Vladivostok for further shipment by train in accordance with Russian Railways requirements is one of the key FESCO advantages.
Online approval on the day of cargo containerization for the general form cerificate prior to the container's exit from the port

The consignor submits photos of the hazardous/ non-hazardous cargo fastened in accordance with Russian Railways' requirements. FESCO agent submits them immediately for approval. The entire process takes less than a day.
